Leanne Bell-Bayliss
Assistant Principal – Quality of Education
Leanne Bell-Bayliss is an Assistant Principal at Trinity Catholic School, and also teaches Mathematics. Raised in Dundee, Scotland, she moved to England to complete a BMus (Hons) at Birmingham Conservatoire, before discovering her lifelong passion for helping young people thrive.
Throughout her career, she has worked as a youth worker, literacy coach, lead practitioner, and most recently as Head of Mathematics. Her role as a Secondary Mastery Specialist (SLE & ISP) for the NCETM has deepened her commitment to ensuring all teaching is grounded in current educational research and evidence-based practice.
A passionate teacher and learner, she loves helping students understand that with hard work, perseverance, and self-belief, every child at Trinity can reach their potential. In her spare time, Leanne is usually at the side of a football pitch cheering on her daughter (a keen footballer) or embarking on new crochet projects destined never to be completed.
