Sam peters place

Mr Sam Farrington - Peter's Place Resource Provision Manager, Teacher & Assistant SENDCo - I am a dedicated and experienced teacher with a passion for delivering high-quality teaching experiences. Having been in the teaching profession for over a decade, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge and expertise in catering to diverse learning needs. As the proud manager of the provision, I prioritise creating inclusive and engaging learning environments where all students can thrive.

My background in teaching history, coupled with my proficiency in mathematics, allows me to offer a well-rounded educational experience to my students. I am also Makaton trained, enabling me to effectively communicate and support students with varying communication needs. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in both mainstream and specialised provisions, where I have supported students with a wide range of learning challenges, including ASC, PMLD, SLD, MLD, and Dyslexia.

Beyond the classroom, I have a keen interest in diverse hobbies, including my love for Harry Potter, dinosaurs especially Jurassic Park, Pokémon, gardening, foraging, bushcraft, cooking, and baking. I am a proud parent of two sons and enjoy spending quality time with my family outside of work.

I am a sports enthusiast, with a particular passion for rugby. I have represented various levels in the sport, further highlighting my commitment to teamwork, discipline, and excellence both in and out of the classroom.

Sally peters place

Mrs Sally Greenmont - Teacher of Peter's Place Resource Provision I have been teaching for over 15 years and most of my teaching experience has been in a primary setting. I specialise in teaching and leading early reading (phonics) and early writing. I have been an English leader for most of my career and I am very passionate about developing children’s love of reading. I have worked in a range of settings across Warwickshire and have especially enjoyed teaching in EYFS and Key Stage 1. I recently joined the team in Peter’s Place and I am really enjoying working in the provision. Every morning, I look forward to coming to work and every day in Peter’s Place is a lot of fun and each day brings a new challenge.

Outside of school, you can often find me taking to the stage in local theatre productions. I love musicals and singing on the stage. I lead a choir and volunteer in my local community. I have 2 gorgeous toy poodles, called Mylo and George; they keep me very busy. I also enjoy drawing and anything creative. I love Harry Potter; anything and everything about dinosaurs; getting stuck into a good book and swimming.
