Mission statement for Art and Design
Trinity Catholic School Leamington aim to deliver an art curriculum which:
- Is tailored to the individual needs and ability range within each group
- Is engaging, fun, and in line with the expectations set out in the National Curriculum for Art and Design
- Year on year builds on the fundamental skills and techniques of drawing and painting, printmaking, and sculpture
- Stimulates students thinking and awareness of social, spiritual, and environmental concerns, and provides them with methods of expressing and exploring their thoughts and feelings
- Equips students with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to be successful at GCSE
- Enables students’ future lives and opportunities to be enriched by an appreciation and enjoyment of Art and Design in the wider world
