Curriculum Intent
In Geography, we aim to foster an enthusiasm in the students⯠for the world, cultures, conservation, and a range of physical and human elements to enable all to develop an empathy for the issues faced by people at a range of scales and consider strategies for managing the greatest challenges faced in the world today.⯠â¯
We aim to foster geographers that explore both the physical properties of Earth’s surface and the human societies spread across it. We examine how humanâ¯cultureâ¯interacts with the natural environment, and the way that locations and places can have an impact on people (adapted from National Geographic).â¯â¯
Through our core values of aspiration, respect and resilience we are devoted to removing barriers to learning and promoting the ‘common good’.
